5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 13 - Results & Review)

1. This Needed Violence

Mike Santana Ortiz
AEW

Former partners Mike Santana and Ortiz have been talking sh*t about one another for a while now. Individually, their cutting promos have been a regular highlight on Rampage, but someone dropped the ball with this latest pre-tape. Seriously, what the hell was the intention here?

The ex-Inner Circle lads came face to face after all that bitching and...didn't come to blows. Huh?! That was a mistake. Both should've been kept apart until match/brawl time if this was all AEW had in mind. Ortiz even threatened to take Mike's good knee out, but Santana refused to do anything about that.

These men are supposed to be fractured friends who now want to tear one another apart. On Rampage, they came across more as bickering kids in a school playground, and that sucked. The eventual match will be hot (hopefully), but this promo didn't do much to sell it.

Yikes.
