5 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Rampage (Oct 13 - Results & Review)

Man, The Hardys looked really good again on Rampage. That's cracking to report, because Matt and Jeff haven't always looked steady on their feet in AEW. The brothers are nowhere near what they once were, obviously, but that's fine if they're put in positions that emphasise what both can still do well.

This trios effort vs. the ex-JAS crew did exactly that.

Something is building with an unlikely Daniel Garcia babyface turn, people. His mid-match dance breaks get a reaction from live crowds, but they're irritating partner Matt Menard. Meanwhile, both Angelo Parker and Jake Hager are in the middle trying to get everyone on the same page.

An opening match win for the heels worked, and made for all-round solid TV. Plus, AEW even followed up on things with a bit of verbals and further context during a backstage promo with Renee Paquette. That was appreciated, because it went deeper on 'Daddy Magic's' frustrations.
