5 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory 2018

2. All Hype For Nothing

With the tension between Moose, Eddie Edwards, and his wife Alisha, you would expect nothing less than a fierce singles battle. That's what we got... at least in the impromptu tag match that followed.

The original one-on-one ended in around three minutes as Killer Kross caused a disqualification. So all the hatred Edwards and former pal Moose had between each other would have to be settled in a tag match featuring Kross and a returning Tommy Dreamer? Something didn't feel right about it. To make matters worse, Eddie pinned Moose with a rollup. In fairness, Moose and Kross did attack him following the match so it's clearly not over between the pair and a rollup is fine at this stage in the rivalry.

That doesn't get away from the fact that two of the most exciting matches on the card - going back to the LAX/OGz brawl - didn't exactly go the way many had expected them to. As mentioned though, this one doesn't appear to be over just yet, so as long as the hypothetical singles clash between Eddie and Moose does better than this, Impact should be able to get away with it.
