Downs...

3. Decent But Directionless

Carmelo Hayes Andrade

Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes was always going to be solid bell-to-bell, but you've got to question what the point of this mini-feud is. They're pretty much fighting over who was less of a loser at Money In The Bank, and that makes for a sh*tty dynamic. Andrade winning out is good for him, but man...Hayes needs something better soon.

Hanging tight before losing vs. top stars like Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes was one thing, but staring at the lights for a clear midcarder like 'El Idolo' is another. Good workers can offset losses, but they need some sense of direction to help out with that. Melo doesn't have that right now.

It's a wee bit worrying.

Look, he'll surely be fine, but it's a crappy vibe to have Hayes going around saying things like, "Melo don't miss" when he most certainly does. It's really the lack of a satisfying story back up that dropped this one in the 'Downs'. Scrapping over who's less of a loser won't cut it.
