3. That Main Event

AJ Styles, Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio saw what happened during the first Triple Threat, glanced at one another and whispered that 'hold my beer' meme. Simply seeing a trio of workers this skilled share the ring together was a real treat, and everyone was fired up to put on a show by bettering Knight vs. Santos vs. Lashley.

They did.

Styles was a logical winner after LA's triumph earlier in the night. Their rematch from 'Mania is actually the ideal opportunity to give AJ his win back and then have him do the honours to Cody in France. Then, if they like, WWE can finally blow things off between Styles and Knight for good (they'd be tied at one win apiece after next week's bout).

Admittedly, KO has been third wheeling a lot in 2024, but he played his part well here. The real magic of this main event came from watching three of the best around do their thing - Rey, Owens and AJ won't share the ring together too many more times, so this should be treasured.
