5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (June 9)

Erm...so why is this Cameron Grimes and Baron Corbin stuff going on if the latter has moved on to feuding with Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams? Both NXT stars were in the house on SmackDown, which made Grimes' backstage attack on Corbs rather confusing.

WWE booked a messy and unfocused night for Cam, Baron and the NXT pair. Just move Grimes on already, especially if you want Corbin to challenge for the NXT Title on the 'C' show soon. Yes, it is cool that WWE wants to shine a light on NXT, but...they had the Draft for that.

It's a bit b*llocks to see NXT stars popping up on other shows after locking in rosters.

Worse, Grimes appeared less-than on Friday due to the presence of Hayes. What's the point in promoting workers to the main roster at all if others from the old brand can just show up whenever they like? Also, what's up with Baron feuding with everyone?
