5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown Live! In Newcastle (May 17)
Downs...
3. Biggest Loser?
Strange night for Big Cass; lumbered on post-interval squash duties against Tye Dillinger, the seven-footer was forced to ply his trade in front of half a crowd with many folk still filing back from their half-time merchandise/pint runs - a stark contrast to his appearance alongside Enzo Amore and then-girlfriend Carmella when the trio marched into the city in 2015.
There was thus little noise for a man currently trying in vain (yet again) to get over as a bully heel, grabbing and clawing at boos as he was last summer. They weren't coming then, either.
A routine win saw him do the necessary, but his post-match frustration was either exceptional selling of his annoyance of swatted fly Tye, or a tweak of his previously-injured knee. For his sake, here's hoping it was the former.
