5 Ups & 3 Downs From WWE SmackDown (May 22)

2. Braun's Goofy Disposition

Smiley Braun Strowman is the worst Braun Strowman.

The way Braun invited himself onto 'The Dirt Sheet' and then acted like a good ol' southern boy who fancied some laughs didn't do him any favours. This is a guy who has literally just been feuding with psychological nightmare fuel Bray Wyatt, but he looked like he didn't have a care in the world.

Strowman should also want to move on mentally from that episode as quickly as possible. Instead, he was the one who broached the subject with The Miz and John Morrison, and he did so with a smile. What in the name of Ramblin' Rabbit was that all about? Did someone in WWE creative actually think brushing off Bray's menace was a good idea?

Braun is more effective when he isn't cutting goofy promos or dismissing his most recent rivalries like complete jokes. WWE should be going more SummerSlam 2017 with him than this - that's when he was at his best.
