5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage: Grand Slam (Sept 22 - Results & Review)

4. Give ‘Em More Minutes Next Time

Julia Hart Skye Blue Brody King
AEW

Skye Blue vs. Julia Hart showed enough to suggest these women deserve a longer match next time they lock up. What AEW presented here, whilst short, definitely stood out for being a singles showing on a tag/trios heavy show. It offered something a little different, basically.

There was personality to everything these women tried, and that goes a long, long way. Skye has babyface fire for days, and Julia's spooky vibes kept things interesting over on her side. It's a bit wild that Hart has reportedly won 25 matches in a row (according to the announcers) mind.

How did that happen?!

Willow Nightingale rushing out for the save post-match when Julia locked her submission on a second time was also welcome. That means Willow vs. Hart is incoming soon. Bring that the f*ck on, because Julia is really coming into her own.

Skye's potential wasn't squished by losing here either, for the record.
