5 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage: Grand Slam (Sept 22 - Results & Review)

2. The Right Call

The Young Bucks Hangman Page Elite ROH Six Man Tag
AEW

ROH isn't essential programming and might never be again, but having The Young Bucks and Hangman Page appear on there for a while might spark some interest. Put it this way: The Elite defending those Six-Man Tag Titles is more likely to put a few eyes on the next Honor pay-per-view than Mogul Embassy.

No offence intended to Prince Nana, naturally.

Credit must go to Tony Khan for having the sense to book two singles matches leading straight into this main event. Julia Hart vs. Skye Blue and Mike Santana vs. Bronson let viewers take a breather from all the multi-man/woman stuff then settle back into a groove with the headliner.

That was appreciated, and it meant The Bucks and Hangman could whizz through their familiar spots without any eye-rolling from those already tired of the trios formula. It'd be cool if Tony didn't cram so many multi-wrestler scenarios on the same show generally though.
