5 Ups & 4 Downs From Last Night's Impact Wrestling (Jun 14)

4. Taking A Stand

Ever since Glenn Gilbertti and now Sami Callihan began sharing their rather disrespectful remarks about the Knockouts, one woman who's always been at the forefront of the crusade to fight back has been Tessa Blanchard. It's almost like the match at Rebellion with Gail Kim gave Tessa a new lease of life that she's using it to ensure we don't ever have to go back to the days where women's wrestling was treated like a joke.

Callihan, alongside the rest of oVe, invaded the Knockouts dressing room while Alisha Edwards was tending to Jessicka Havok's victim, sorry, opponent. They found themselves confronted by Tessa, who told Sami to bring oVe to the ring with him next week. Now, while that match would likely be an excellent one, we'll have to wait just a smidge longer as it'll actually be Jake Crist facing the former Knockouts Champion next week.

At the time of writing, Sami still doesn't really have a reason to be focusing his attention on the females, resulting in a plethora of Downs for the rivalry. Now that we're coming away from the distasteful remarks and further towards an actual match, it's time to be positive.
