5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE Raw (July 24)

3. All Perfectly Serviceable

Drew McIntyre GUNTHER

Apparently, somebody backstage thinks Corey Graves' impressions of Ludwig Kaiser are hilarious. That's the only rational explanation for why Graves put on an accent and mocked the Imperium member at length during his match vs. Drew McIntyre. It was a little grating, but onto the positives.

Everything here was well-worked.

It was interesting to hear from GUNTHER pre-match too. That was some rare in-ring promo time for the reigning Intercontinental Champion, and he did well with it. Then, Kaiser spoke up to kick off the match with Drew, and the pair contested a snug contest that got the job done (namely, furthering McIntyre's title tilt).

Post-match, it looked like the Imperium crew would have the last laugh, but Drew said sod that and blasted GUNTHER through the announce table with a powerbomb. Fans in Tampa appreciated that, because it meant their loud "WE WANT TABLES" chants were rewarded.
