2. Jelly Roll’s Involvement Continues To Be A Hoot

Jelly Roll is 2025's surprise celeb package.

He was part of a fabulously slick segment kicked off by Logan Paul being a tosser in his hometown. Jelly interrupted him with some cool promo lines after that. The musician is clearly comfortable on the mic, which is perhaps no surprise, but he’s showing he understands timing better than most celebrities coming into wrestling. Physically, he’ll be limited and might’ve showed a little too much of his arsenal here, but this whole scenario has been a blast to see unfold.

Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton and Paul will do most of the heavy lifting on SummerSlam Saturday, but Jelly should be proud of how well he’s slotting in. That was never a given. He's closer to Bad Bunny than Jeremy Piven, put it that way. Triple H will be happy with that, and he might well thumb his nose at Travis Scott when touting Jelly's successful stint.

Roll knew when to back off (once Drew got in his face, basically), and when to get aggressive (at any point he was one on one with Paul). If all goes well and the tag match at SummerSlam works as planned, then Jelly might even get another payoff in the future. Who knows? He could be a 2026 Royal Rumble entrant if the stars align, and that could lead to a WrestleMania match.

Hey, it worked for Johnny Knoxville.

Jelly's involvement in SmackDown fare continues to earn plaudits, and rightly so. He's been a huge plus point on TV during the build towards SummerSlam, and he's even managed to score some mainstream media coverage for the company into the bargain. What's not to like?
