Earlier in the year, WWE screwed the SmackDown tag-team division out of a rightful spot on the WrestleMania 41 weekender. Instead, The Street Profits, DIY and Motor City Machine Guns pieced together a stormer of a TLC match on the 25 April edition of the show. They were too late for 'Mania, but everybody had a good time regardless.

Triple H has decided to put things right and finally give the blue tag scene some flowers.

After this week's lifeless main event between The Wyatt Sicks and the fairly fresh team of Andrade and Rey Fenix, everybody started brawling. SmackDown GM Nick Aldis grabbed a mic and said he's sick (ahem) of this chaos, so he's putting The Wyatts, Profits, DIY, Machine Guns, Andrade and Fenix, and Fraxiom in a 6-strong TLC match at SummerSlam. Holy Hardys, Dudleyz, Edge and Christian!

This is lovely to see, especially considering what happened earlier in 2025 during 'Mania season. Los Garza are missing out, but still - there's plenty to be happy about heading into 2-3 August. WWE hasn't officially confirmed which night will host the TLC bout, but it looks likely to be the Sunday. That only had 5 bouts compared to Saturday's 6 before SmackDown went live.

Pay close attention to this match even if you haven't been following the doubles scene on Fridays. Rey Fenix, Nathan Frazer, Montez Ford and the Guns are all likely to do some crazy stuff in New Jersey. Screw it, get The Hardys in town to hand the belts to the winners. Why not, eh?!
