4. Oba Femi Crushes The Miz

The Miz is at his best when he's a delusional "locker room leader" who flits between offering his services and threatening to beat the snot out of everyone before realising that probs isn't going to happen. The fun part of this casting is that Miz is literally a locker room leader these days, and a fine one. He deserves endless respect for everything he's achieved in WWE, and for overcoming senseless bullying during his formative years.

This week, Miz wanted to form a tag-team with Oba Femi that'd dominate the landscape for years to come. Seriously, that'd be better than anything The Wyatt Sicks have been inflicting on the SmackDown tag division since last year. No joke. Make it happen. 'The Awesome Rulers' for tag champs in 2026. Mark your calendars.

Yeah, Oba said no.

These squashes against heels who range between begging off and showing delusional arrogance? Yep, they’re working for Femi. Miz offering to become his “Undertaker” was good clean fun, and so was Oba calling him “a Deadman” before squashing him. The line: “Mike, you’re dying tonight” was simple, vicious and to the point. The whole promo-into-match was exactly what it needed to be from the moment Miz walked through the curtain.

Few know their role better than he does these days. Chelsea Green is up there on the women's side, but she doesn't have the longevity Miz does. On Friday, the veteran and future WWE Hall Of Famer sold his butt off for Oba, and Femi matched him on the mic. Total winner of a quarter hour here.
