3. Asuka’s Logic, Tiffany’s Win & Chelsea Green

Little known fact: Asuka wrestles when she wants to, and she won't be pressured into working unnecessary bouts before crunch PLE matches like Elimination Chamber. So, the vet bowed out of a scrap that was set up vs. Tiffany Stratton, and Kairi Sane wrestled in her place. It turned out to be a nice tune up match for Stratton.

Also, the aforementioned Chelsea Green joined commentary, and she was fantastic as always. One of the best things about Chelsea on this occasion was that she didn't try to shout down or over Joe Tess and Wade Barrett. Instead, she waited on them to feed her lines or leave noticeable gaps, and she filled them with banter-heavy statements which shone a spotlight on herself, Alba Fyre and what was happening inside the ring. The way she refers to Tiffany as "Tacky Time" is a hoot.

Does somebody have a future in colour commentary? Hey, don't rule it out.

Back to the match. Sane understood her assignment, and Asuka looked smart for deciding not to wrestle before Chamber. Meanwhile, Stratton just wants to boot some heads in because she's been frustrated since the second half of 2025 ended with a title loss to Jade Cargill. This writer still isn't convinced that she should stay babyface, but there are worse ideas on the table than pushing Tiffy as a competitive baby with a chip on her shoulder.

She's trying to build momentum after returning at the Royal Rumble over in Saudi. Matches with this preamble and execution will always do fine. It only amplified how useless the Grace vs. LeRae bout was, but that isn't Tiffany or Kairi's fault.
