2. A Dull Championship Toast

Nia Jax and Lash Legend celebrated becoming Women’s Tag-Team Champs by having a toast, but they were interrupted by Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss then Kiana James and Giulia. Nick Aldis then came out to announce the predictable Flair and Bliss vs. James and Giulia match. Yeah, this was all a little too played out. It was filler more than anything, and just generally didn’t add much to the show.

The Irresistible Forces should be solid champs, but WWE need to rethink these set-up segments ‘cause this didn’t help the new champions at all. They didn't get a ton of heat for rubbing their success in everyone's faces, the actual friendship dynamic between Jax and Lash was never explored, and then they bowed out so others could take centre stage.

During their own celebration. What? That isn't what egotistical heels would do. If anything, Jax and Legend would hang around ringside and wreck the match as revenge for Charlotte and Alexa butting in on their business. It's always better when pro wrestlers act like real human beings rather than secondary characters in WWE 2K26's Universe Mode. They shouldn't have dipped out once the match got started.

In fact, The Forces headed for the exits before the bell sounded.

The bigger problem is definitely how humdrum their speech was though. Developing Lash is the priority, but nobody needs more of Nia's 'too cool for school' style on the mic. That won't get Legend to where she needs to be. A lot more care is needed for this kind of skit, to be blunt.
