5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 16)

Downs...

4. Nothing New Here

Tamina Natalya Nia Jax

Neither Natalya nor Shayna Baszler got an entrance before their singles match on SmackDown. That, dear reader, pretty much says it all. They, their partners Tamina and Nia Jax, and this feud are as low as they come on WWE's creative pecking order.

The problem is this: WWE's disinterest comes across. They can't expect anybody to give a sh*t about a WrestleMania 37 rematch between these two teams if they don't, but that won't stop it from happening. Nattie picked up the win over Shayna here, then Tamina blasted Nia with a big boot. Another Women's Title shot is all-but-guaranteed.

This is lazy.

The women's tag division is a total mess. Anybody hoping that Baszler and Jax would have someone new to war with would've been disappointed by SmackDown's booking. Also, what the hell happened to Reginald? Has he been discarded?
