5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 16)

Ups...

5. A Fine Big Man/Little Man Match

Short, zippy pace. Check. Smart finish with a crucifix roll up. Check. Heel outrage post-match. Check. Nice big man vs. little man dynamic. Check. Yep, Otis vs. Rey Mysterio ticked a lot of boxes on this week's SmackDown. They made the most of the time they were given and produced a tight little TV match.

More of that, please.

Otis' alliance with Chad Gable has more meat on the bone than WWE are likely willing to admit, but nobody should be salty about them coming up short here; Rey and Dominik should be next in line for a crack at the SmackDown Tag-Team Titles, and this gives them some momentum.

It'd actually be cool to see WWE program two concurrent tag feuds on Fridays. Rey and Dom can challenge Dirty Dawgs for the gold, and Alpha Academy can battle it out with The Street Profits. Or, perhaps they could, y'know, introduce a new face team to add more weight to the division?
