5 Ups & 4 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 8)

1. “I Quit” = Right Call

OK, so the promo work here was standard shaky Ronda Rousey, and Charlotte Flair didn't say much of note herself. However, booking a rematch between both women under the "I Quit" banner should mean more arm bar teases heading into WrestleMania Backlash. That's a good thing.

So, mind you, is pointing to Charlotte tapping out (which the ref didn't see) at 'Mania. Rousey will surely rectify that come the next pay-per-view, and WWE will furnish the latest chapter in this rivalry with lots of physicality building up to that. That is very much needed.

This could also be the main event come Backlash.

Shinsuke Nakamura challenging Roman Reigns doesn't sound like a big enough match for that slot, and it's hard to imagine WWE coming up with anything else bigger than Rousey vs. Flair with a stip. Maybe this will make up for missing out on the headline slot in Dallas.
