4. It’ll Take More Than This

WWE fans are still waiting for Lacey Evans to nail down her purpose on the roster. Everyone out there is a bit numb to Lacey after endless alignment changes over the past few years, and it'll take more than a squash match win to convince most that she's worth paying attention to for more than a couple of weeks.

Sorry, but it's true.

Evans' win over Jazmin Allure (AEW Dark: Elevation represent!) fell fairly flat, and so did her promo about entering the Royal Rumble. Here's the problem: Lacey was badly damaged by her prior reset. She was cast as a sympathetic sob story babyface, then turned into a heel. Now, WWE is going the female Sgt. Slaughter route with her.

Again, people are numb to it all. The best thing these writers can do is stick Evans in a feud opposite a babyface fans like and give both women some time to figure things out. All this chopping and changing isn't doing Lacey any favours.
