4. Selling Is Important

A few Twitter comments have already popped up expressing disappointment that Ricochet vs. Mustafa Ali wasn't Rico vs. Will Ospreay from the New Japan days. Fair enough, but Ali had a story to tell here. He was still selling his ribs after Bobby Lashley's attack on Raw.

Continuity is cool.

Personally, this writer would rather workers kept things simple and told stories rather than pin-balling around the ring for the sake of it. Could Ricochet and Mustafa have a banger? Of course, but the action on offer here was hardly crap. Plus, Ali's selling made Lashley look killer.

Rico was the right winner too, and his shooting star onto a standing Ali looked absolutely wonderful. Kudos to WWE for squeezing in some "flippy" chat during a backstage standoff between Ricochet and Braun Strowman too.

Everything, from the match to the aftermath, was very well-worked.
