When the story of WWE 2025 is written, there is going to need to be a chapter dedicated to Alexa Bliss managing to turn Charlotte Flair into a bona fide babyface after countless failed efforts to get fans to cheer the Queen.

Their tag match against the Judgment Day for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship wasn’t a classic from an in-ring perspective. The action was perfectly fine, but it wasn’t the wrestling that was the story – although Charlotte’s hot tag blitz was quite impressive and had the crowd rocking, which was really impressive.

Flair and Bliss are a modern-day Odd Couple, mismatched heroes trying to get along (and possibly pretending they don’t get along as well as they actually do) was the story at play here, and everything nearly came crashing down.

Raquel Rodriguez had Charlotte in her clutches, and Alexa charged to lay out Big Mami Cool, only for Roxanne Perez to pull Raquel to safety. Bliss nailed Flair, which very nearly led to Charlotte taking the fall, but the heroines persevered, and just as Alexa had Roxanne in position for the Sister Abigail, Charlotte rose up and charged… right past Bliss to boot Rodriguez, allowing Alexa to finish Perez and capture the tag titles.

Fun stuff that the fans ate up with a spoon. Bliss and Flair as unlikely tag champs could make for good television, if their antics thus far are any indication.
