5 Ups & 5 Downs For WWE Raw (11 Aug - Results & Review)

Ups…

5. Steiner Math

No matter how insufferable WWE’s show-opening promo trains are, if you can find one thing to highlight, it should be drawn out and praised, if only because it somewhat justifies sitting through 15-20 minutes of chatter.

Monday’s offering came at the end of the CM Punk/LA Knight/Paul Heyman banter fest, after the heroes agreed to a tag team match against the Two Bronnys. Heyman and Bronson Reed went to leave, but Bron Breakker removed his jacket and started stalking to the ring, only for Reed to hold him back.

That’s when Breakker started yelling at the ring, “You’re 47 (to Punk)… and you’re 40 (to Knight)… What are you going to do?... They’re like 100 (years old) combined!”

Bron’s only off by 13 years there, but given his genealogy, that kind of mathematical mistake is understandable. Regardless, Breakker’s unhinged mini-rant while foaming at the mouth was a fun little moment showing a guy who can barely be contained.
