5 Ups & 5 Downs From Impact Wrestling (26 Jan)
2. Play It Back
There was literally no point in having a rematch between Rosemary and Tenille Dashwood last night. Their bout two weeks ago was meaningless by itself. Rosemary won, despite interference from Kaleb With A K and Tenille's use of hairspray. The only positive outcome there was the reformation of Decay with Crazzy Steve.
So, what happened last night? Rosemary won, despite interference from Kaleb With A K and Tenille's use of his camera bag. Essentially, an exact rehash of their previous encounter. What's worse is that Decay also defeated Tenille and Kaleb on the opener to Hard To Kill.
A dull match anyway, the same result helped nobody in the process. 'The Demon Assassin' ending proceedings with her Wing Clipper tribute to Angel Garza (now dubbed the As Above, So Below) couldn't have come sooner. Judging by a backstage interaction, Decay are now moving into a story with XXXL, seeing as Larry D has been freed from jail. That could be good, if done right.
As for Tenille and Kaleb, though? The future looks bleak for them if they continue down this route. Why can't any promotion book Dashwood correctly?
