5 Ups & 5 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Apr 5)

3. An Even Game

Madman Fulton made his in-ring debut this week as he and Sami Callihan defeated Rich Swann and Willie Mack in quite a tense tag team encounter. The saga between Callihan and Swann was the focal point of the majority of the match, with the X Division Champion running to the ring during his entrance to get his hands on The Draw.

All in all, this was a fantastic match, and one that certainly helped further the rivalry between the opposing sides. The addition of Fulton to the ranks of oVe adds to the unpredictability of the group and gives them strength in numbers, although the sides have sort of been evened up now as Tommy Dreamer once again got involved post-match to save Swann and Mack from further damage.

The Innovator of Violence doesn’t add that much to this rivalry apart from being there to even out the sides. Despite that though, his interactions with Fulton could make for some entertaining moments, given the fact that both men aren’t afraid to go a little extreme to inflict punishment on their opponents.
