5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (1 May - Review)

2. Priest Gets The Rub

The Judgment Day

Damian Priest is heading into arguably the biggest singles match of his WWE career this weekend, so he needed a boost on Raw Monday night. He got it in a six-person tag match pitting the Judgment Day against the LWO.

Priest would pin Rey Mysterio after Finn Balor saved him from a 619, opening the door for Damian to hit South of Heaven for the win. In recent weeks, Priest has looked huge – not just because he’s the tallest in the stable, but in the way he carries himself. Heading into Backlash, Priest feels like he’s itching to break out, which is almost humorous considering he was the only member of Judgment Day without a match at WrestleMania 39.

Throw in Priest’s fiery promo in Spanish directed at Bad Bunny and you have the makings of someone who could take a step forward finally in WWE.
