5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (2 Jan - Review)

2. …And Then The Bell Rang

Dexter Lumis Chad Gable

Peel away the unblinking stare and the creepy movements, and what do you have with Dexter Lumis?

A mediocre match that largely plays out to silence, apparently. That’s what we got when Lumis faced Chad Gable in a pedestrian bout that was as forgettable as what you had for lunch four Tuesdays ago.

Honestly, there’s not much else to say here other than this stat: Dexter has now had more televised matches since 1 November than Johnny Gargano. A guy known for not blinking and carrying an axe has wrestled more than a guy literally known as Johnny Wrestling.

Gable made this bearable, and thankfully it was short, but this is the definition of a skippable match.
