5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (2 Jan - Review)

3. Raw Roster Stands By

The Bloodline’s invasion of Raw was a clever move considering the results of the tag match on SmackDown that saw Roman Reigns on the losing end.

And the Raw roster looked like they had finally wised up when a bunch of superstars ran down to aid Kevin Owens in ejecting the foursome from the ring during the opening segment. Everyone wanted a piece of the Bloodline, which was put on display in a backstage segment where everyone was demanding Adam Pearce give them a match with an Uso or Sami Zayn or Solo Sikoa.

But that all came crashing back to Earth an hour or so later when Kevin Owens was jumped post-match by the entire Bloodline (after Solo interfered in the six-man tag match, cheating to win). Who came and saved the day?

Why, it was SmackDown’s Drew McIntyre & Sheamus! They must’ve been here just in case the entire locker room chickened out and refused to stand up to the Bloodline. Good thing, because Mustafa Ali, Dolph Ziggler, Cedric Alexander and the rest of the wrestlers who wanted to beat up the Bloodline earlier were nowhere to be found when they were most needed.

To recap, the Bloodline invaded Raw to start and took the ring, only to be chased off by the wrestlers and put in matches, which they won. Then they beat up their main adversary, and no one from Raw came back to save the day. If not for Drew and Sheamus, they might still be pummeling KO now.
