5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE Raw (7 April - Results & Review)
4. IC Title Picture Takes Focus

Bron Breakker should be in a more fleshed-out feud heading into WrestleMania as the Intercontinental Champion rather than defending it against three men in a rivalry pieced together during the past month, but all four men have worked hard to up the ante, and Monday’s showing was actually pretty successful at hinting at a possible show-stealer.
Penta faced off against Dominik Mysterio, who, in theory, would be the human punching bag of the bunch. And while Dom ultimately lost, there was a nice bit with Mysterio “stealing” moves from other wrestlers: Eddie Guerrero’s Three Amigos and frogsplash, Rey Mysterio’s 619, and even Penta’s Mexican Destroyer.
It sounds silly, but casting Dominik as someone who grew up around wrestlers and then aping their signatures to be competitive fits the character to this point, and it’s the only way he would stand a chance.
Penta, of course, is still riding high on his successful run to date. And Breakker finally got to deliver a few spears that looked like he was going to cut someone in half. Carlito might still be looking for the shoes that he was speared out of when Bron flew down the entranceway at him. Finn Balor actually got one up on Breakker and escaped harm.
At this stage, it’s safe to rate this as a potential sleeper for WrestleMania, much like the tag team showcase matches a couple of years back.
