5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (April 26 - Results & Review)
2. So Much For His SmackDown Spot
Erm...Bron Breakker literally signed on the dotted line with SmackDown a super-short period of time ago. He was called up to the main roster pre-Draft, and blue GM Nick Aldis made a big song and dance about locking Bron down to a deal. That was one of the 'B' stories on SmackDown for a while - Aldis chased both Breakker and Jade Cargill.
Scrap that, 'cause Bron has jumped to Raw anyway.
OK then. Hopefully, creative can come up with something more substantial than the routine squashes Breakker has been working. Yeah, it's impressive to see Bron maul people, but he'll need more if he's going to survive on the flagship. Way more. WWE probs could've done without that unnecessary run of showings on Smackers heading into this week's show, to be honest.
Aldis looks foolish for pursuing Breakker like he did, seemingly securing him as a coup for SmackDown, then watching him dart out the door towards Adam Pearce. Nick wasn't even particularly p*ssed off about any of this. The only thing Bron's leap accomplished was making Aldis look like someone who takes his eye off the ball.
