5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Feb 10)

4. Nobody Helps Paul Heyman

The Bloodline stuff did a lot of SmackDown's heavy lifting this week.

Paul Heyman opened the show with one of his usual long-winded-but-on-the-money speeches. That wouldn't have been enough on its own, so it's a good thing Sami Zayn stopped by to liven the segment up and tease kicking the crap out of he who stares at Roman Reigns.

What followed was a fun duelling promo (which was expected given their twin poise on the mic) that raised some interesting questions about Reigns' relationships with Heyman, The Usos and Solo Sikoa. Honestly, Sami worked wonders with little here, thus proving once again how versatile he is.

It's also worth pointing out that nobody rushed to Paul's aid. Jimmy, Jey (who hadn't arrived yet) and Solo (who wasn't there, for some reason) all stayed away. That let Heyman question Jimmy's loyalty later, and fed nicely into The Usos' own moment in the sun.
