5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 20 - Results & Review)

Downs...

5. Casting Confusion

Bianca Belair Bayley

Firstly, most fans (including this one) will be delighted to see Bianca Belair back on TV. She's a major star, and has consistently delivered the goods for WWE. However, isn't it about time the 'EST' was freshened up as a character? The creative team seemed to be heading that way before her recent time away.

Both Bianca and Charlotte Flair feel out of place as babyfaces at the moment. That's especially true for Charlotte, but Belair needs some change herself. Also, it's rather jarring that both are playing best buddies so soon after feuding with no real context as to why placed in between.

That's not great.

Sure, the story deserves time to shake out, but that was this guy's immediate thought when he saw Bianca running out to save Flair. Belair and Charlotte in the mix for the Women's Title is something fans literally just witnessed a few months back. Change the record, guys.
