Both King Of The Ring quarter finals on the blue brand side were always destined to be awesome. Sure, it was a bit strange that WWE didn't leak the brackets earlier in the week, but no-one was whining once it was revealed that Sami Zayn was wrestling Rey Mysterio.

Everyone knew this would be a good match, and it was.

Credit must go to the agents for working in a moment on the ongoing 'will he/won't he' turn story for Dominik. He tried to help his dad, then looked on in horror as his interference backfired. Standard stuff, yes, although that's fine when it makes sense. This did - the whole segment felt slick.

Zayn advancing was also the right move. Every tournament needs an insufferable heel, and Sami fits that mould perfectly. WWE managed to push him through to the semi finals and continue the father/son tension between Rey and Dom in just 10 minutes.
