5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Oct 8)
Ups...
5. The Mean-EST
Those problems don't extend to the excellent SmackDown Women's Title scenario.
Becky Lynch vs. Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair is a marquee match for sure, and it's a credit to the Crown Jewel card. Best of all, WWE are finally tightening up some issues with Bianca's 'happy to be here' personality, and they seem motivated to turn her into a bad ass before she jets off to Raw permanently.
Here, Belair cut through the bullsh*t from Becky and Sasha before smashing both through the same table with her Kiss Of Death finish. That was a hot start, and it was better for the brevity of that usually-drawn out contract signing stuff. In fact, nobody actually put pen to paper before the table bump.
Fans in San Jose roared with approval when Belair (quite literally) took matters into her own hands. That's a good sign for her future as a babyface. It's also worth noting that Lynch didn't hear any cheers; perhaps people are onboard with her heel guise after all.
