5 Ups & 5 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Sept 11)

3. 'Alexa, Play With Nikki!'

No, Alexa Bliss wasn't unveiled as Bray Wyatt's "new friend" on SmackDown. She was too busy hunting out her old Harley Quinn outfit, perfecting a vacant stare and learning Bray's 'Sister Abigail' finisher so she could blast Nikki Cross with the thing at ringside.

What a time to be alive.

Bliss is the most interesting she's been in years thanks to this 'Fiend' mixup, and it's a feather in the cap for Wyatt that he's impacted yet another character so mightily. The way Alexa grabbed Cross, doubted what she was about to do and then planted her on the mats was excellent.

Alexa then strolled on out of the Fatal-4-Way like a robot who'd done her master's bidding. Hopefully, WWE follow up on this with another attack at Clash Of Champions. Or, maybe they'll see sense and redirect Nikki towards a singles bout against her old partner rather than an unnecessary SmackDown Women's Title tilt.
