At its core, the mixed tag team match between The Miz, Maryse, John Cena and Nikki Bella it was an old fashioned heels-and-babyfaces match where the good guys comfortably countered the baddies on when finally on an even keel.

Beyond kayfabe, it was some overdue spotlight for one of the hardest working men in the entire organisation, his wife, and the sacrifices they were willing to make for the good of the cause. In a game with obvious and dominant predetermined 'winners', The Miz was the real victor, with unexpected love shown to him from the crowd reflecting everything he'd done in the last few years to elevate himself and others around him.
