5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night’s WWE Raw (Dec 8th)

1. The Ending Set Up TLC Well

The last Raw before a PPV typically has some kind of brawl to set up one of the key matches at whatever PPV is coming up. This week's show ended up promoting multiple matches for Sunday, so they deserve credit for getting people ready for those matches. Raw ended with a bunch of the top heels standing tall. Seth Rollins put John Cena through the announce table with a Powerbomb as a way to promote their Tables Match. Luke Harper's taking on Dolph Ziggler in a Ladder Match on Sunday. Ziggler wasn't able to overcome the heels this time around because Harper slammed him through a table. Kane kept Ryback at bay by attacking with a Steel Chair to set up their Chairs Match on Sunday. Big Show was able to dominate his PPV opponent, Erick Rowan, who he meets in a Stairs Match. If you watched Raw then you what the stipulations are for those matches and you know that the bad guys got the advantage after this show. Tune in Sunday night at Tables, Ladders & Chairs (And Stairs) to see more carnage. It was an effective ending to an otherwise disappointing show.
