5 Ups And 5 Downs From Last Night’s WWE Raw (Dec 8th)
2. Not Big Show Vs. John Cena Again!
At the start of Raw, it was announced that John Cena would face Big Show. It would be interesting to see how many people turned the show off and never turned it back on because of how many times that match was done. These guys had a WrestleMania match ten years ago. Move on already! Their match was the same boring snoozefest they always have too. At one point, Cena had on a sleeper that was so bad. It must be difficult to do on Big Show because he's such a big dude, but this looked like somebody that has never applied a wrestling hold in his life. Come on Cena. You've been wrestling for nearly 15 years now. It has to look better than that. When Cena hit the Attitude Adjustment on Show, the crowd popped big for it. We've seen that move done on Show for over a decade now, but it's still impressive just because of how big Show is. The problem with this match is that as soon as it hit, everybody watching knew that somebody was going to interfere. Seth Rollins showed up, broke up the pin and caused a disqualification ending. It feels like this year more than any other year has had more DQ style ending than ever before. Why should fans care about main event matches if all we get are non finishes? It's tough to sit through a whole show sometimes.
