Ups…

5. Don’t Hinder Jinder!

It would be very easy to just roll your eyes at Jinder Mahal after his horrendous run as WWE Champion in 2017. But the guy does have a role he can play, even in 2021.

Mahal returned to Raw on Monday night, flanked by two Indian wrestlers, Veer and Shanky, who were easily three times as large as Jinder’s former running buddies, the Singh Brothers. However, Mahal didn’t need outside help as he cleanly defeated Jeff Hardy.

In his pre-match promo, Jinder said that “nothing smells better than fresh competition” and pledged to remind everyone why he’s a former champion. And then he went out and delivered.

Sure, we could be here in a couple of weeks wishing for him to go away, but he’s someone different and might actually have something to offer, so let’s roll with it for a week or so.
