5 Ups & 6 Downs From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Jul 5)

3. Making Things Personal

Up until now, Moose and Rob Van Dam's match at Slammiversary didn't feel particularly important. There wasn't much of a reason for Moose to be targeting 'The Whole F'N Show' except for the fact that he doesn't feel there's a spot on the current roster for guys like RVD. While that may have just been something he was saying, it's become evidently clear Moose has a deep hatred for Van Dam.

After reminding RVD of the fact that the original ECW came to an end almost two decades ago, Moose played a video on the screen, showing Sabu, who had seemingly been knocked out. Cue Rob's music, as the former World Champion charged to the ring to brawl with his Slammiversary opponent, continuing until security intervened.

Now, there's a clear hatred from both men involved. Tensions between them have reached an all-time high just in the nick of time. Hopefully, that animosity will continue into their match at the pay-per-view, and we have ourselves a fight rather than a wrestling match.
