Akira Tozawa still has the capability of exciting fans and firing them up during one of his matches.

Unfortunately for the Stamina Monster, his opponent on Raw Monday night was the eminently boring Austin Theory, WWE’s resident create-a-wrestler. Theory controlled much of the match, grinding things to a halt as he worked his way through his generic offense and posing.

Tozawa tried to rally toward the end, bringing the fans to life, but Austin shut their enthusiasm down with a rolling forearm (are you kidding?) for the finish, deflating the crowd.

There’s a school of thought that a wrestler cutting off excitement is a form of heat unto itself, but let’s face it: the next dime Theory draws will be his first.
