5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (29 April - Results & Review)

UPS…

5. Actually Shaking Things Up

One of the legit criticisms of the first night of the WWE draft was that it was a lot of status quo, with some mild rearranging of the deck chairs.

Monday’s draft night had a lot more movement, between both main roster brands and from NXT to Raw and SmackDown. All told, 11 acts (26 superstars) switched brands, while four wrestlers (Ilja Dragunov, Lyra Valkyria, Blair Davenport and Dijak) were called up to the main roster from NXT.

In doing so, the LWO was separated from Legado Del Fantasma, the Final Testament will get a fresh start away from The Pride, and Damage CTRL won’t be harassing Bayley going forward.

This wasn’t earth-shattering by any stretch, but it was a better night in terms of actually making it feel like things will be a bit different when Raw goes live next week.
