5 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE Raw (Feb 6 - Results & Review)

2. Let Them Fight!

WWE Raw Rhea Ripley Nia Jax

Nia Jax’s string of awesome moments since her WWE return continued Monday night when she interrupted an irate Rhea Ripley.

The Women’s World Champion stormed down to the ring to demand Jax right then and there, Raw GM Adam Pearce tried to tamp that down by noting that she would get Nia… at Elimination Chamber. That mollified Ripley, but Jax was already on her way to the ring, triggering a brawl that security couldn’t break up.

Jax would get the upper hand and flatten Rhea with an Annihilator, thus setting the stage for Ripley to be in an unusual position: situational babyface underdog. But that’s a perfect spot for her heading into a match where she’s the home country favorite in Australia and is going to get cheered regardless. So having her work to overcome Nia from underneath is a great call.
