5. Not Ready For Primetime

It’s not fair to entirely fault Maxxine Dupri for her poor performances on TV – she really shouldn’t be put out there on live television to fail – but it still needs to be called out.

Raw’s bathroom break match Monday night was the mixed tag bout pitting Ivar and Valhalla against Dupri and Akira Tozawa in a meaningless sham of a match. Maxxine managed to badly botch a corner sunset flip roll-up, messing up the timing, the landing and the roll-up itself. She then would try to execute a handspring back elbow that saw her complete her handspring a good 5-7 feet from the corner and have to lunge to hit Valhalla.

It was bad. Really bad. Even Michael Cole’s commentary was bad, as he remarked as Tozawa went for a sunset bomb on Ivar off the middle rope, “Not sure how wise that is”… except for the fact that Tozawa literally used that exact move to defeat Ivar three weeks ago in a match Cole called.

And Valhalla didn’t wear antlers, so Cole was a sad panda for the segment.
