5 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (18 May - Results & Review)

4. LA Knight Makes His Return

Just as fans were starting to openly wonder whether LA Knight was on the outs with WWE, the Megastar made his return to Raw Monday night, taking stock of the landscape that had shifted since he was last around.

Knight made it a point to approach the Usos and Seth Rollins on Monday - one, former allies, and the other a former enemy.

LA made it clear to both that he had no sympathy for either, telling Jimmy and Jey that they were behaving like the Vision, and letting Rollins know that “the enemy of my enemy is not my friend.”

In this way, LA Knight was almost acting like the moral compass of Raw, a symbol of consistency in a chaotic land. The Usos have changed so much in just a couple of short months, and Knight called them out for conducting themselves like the same group they fought against as recently as WrestleMania 42. He pointed to their history together, but reiterated that he won’t stand idly by if Roman Reigns is going to restart a heel Bloodline to dominate Raw.

At the same time, Knight told Rollins that he admired him for standing up to the Vision on his own, but he also was going to enjoy watching Seth get stomped on in the process. While he said he wasn’t going to help Rollins, everyone knows that the unofficial babyface code means LA eventually will come around to make the save, but Rollins has to earn that trust first.

Perfectly good stuff from Knight here, attaching himself to two major angles/acts on Raw in one night.
