5 Ups & 8 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 7)

3. Detestable ‘Babyfaces’ Can’t Achieve Anything

It’s bad enough that Ricochet and Humberto Carrillo are pretty crappy babyfaces, jumping Sheamus after losing clean, distracting him so they could each score rollup pins, and so forth.

But then, when they get a shot to determine which of them gets a United States Championship match, neither can actually win the match. That’s right, just a couple of weeks after we got the whole double-DQ from Kofi Kingston/Drew McIntyre, we got a double-count-out from Ricochet and Humberto.

The finish came as the two fought on the apron and Ricochet charged, with Carrillo nailing a Spanish Fly off the apron to the floor, knocking both men silly. The match was called a draw, meaning neither man earned a shot. And Sheamus, despite wearing a mask, celebrated by mocking how dumb and incompetent the men were, unable to adequately challenge him.

Yep, way to even try to build one of these two up as a challenger.
