5 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw After WrestleMania (April 4)

2. MVP Hitches Wagon To New Horse

The writing was on the wall the minute MVP noted that Bobby Lashley beat the undefeated Omos at WrestleMania 38 all on his own, without his manager’s help.

Porter sounded like he was proud of Lashley, but he quickly turned on his former charge, blindsiding him while the All Mighty was staring down Omos, revealing he was in cahoots with the colossus.

MVP unloaded on Lashley, yelling at him that probably wishes he had him in his corner now, and then Omos laid him out with a series of moves and a Tree Slam as an exclamation point.

This pairing makes a lot of sense. Omos is not even a good talker, while MVP is fantastic. Porter is a moderate babyface at best, and a heroic Lashley (who can talk) doesn’t need a mouthpiece. It really puts all the puzzle pieces in the best possible spots.
