5 Ups & 8 Downs From WWE Raw (June 27)

5. All That For A Walkout

The Miz AJ Styles

Let’s be honest from the jump: Miz versus AJ Styles has no right to be good, but their singles bout on Raw Monday night was pretty good while it lasted.

Styles is a master at working with what his opponents give him and crafting an entertaining match, and so we got a decent little contest between the two. However, just as things seemed to be reaching their conclusion, Miz bailed to the floor to avoid the Phenomenal Forearm… and just walked off, getting counted out in the process.

What a lame finish that just made the entire act of sitting through the match meaningless and… oh dear God…

They’re going to run this back at Money in the Bank, aren’t they? We’re going to have to endure this again because of the count-out, aren’t we? A 10-minute match ending with one wrestler walking out to set up a rematch. That would be peak WWE.
