One sure way to kill off any reason to think Humberto Carrillo was worth getting invested in came on Monday night when he was sacked twice in the span of an hour.

Carrillo was attacked two weeks ago by Sheamus when the luchador tried to answer the United States Champion’s open challenge, but he came back last week to get the upper hand. On Monday, Humberto got jumped backstage and laid out. But then during Sheamus’ match against Mansoor, Carrillo caused a DQ and attacked the Celtic Warrior.

However, Sheamus would gain control and level Humberto with a Brogue Kick, marking a second beatdown on the same show of a guy who’s literally won nothing except a couple of lucky moves on Sheamus last week.

But next week, we’ll be asked to care about Carrillo because of his moxie and fighting spirit. Just you wait.
